What is SimpleGive?
SimpleGive provides churches and nonprofits the ability to accept online giving. Churches can also take payments for church camp, conferences, building programs, and other preconfigured accounts. Churches can set up a way for members to help victims of a natural disaster like Katrina within minutes.
How do I use SimpleGive?
We have created a demo for you to have full access to the product. Please go to https://wwwsimplegive.com/demo/ to learn more.
How do I give to my church or a nonprofit using SimpleGive?
Visit the church’s or nonprofit’s donation page on their website or Facebook page to give using your credit card, debit card, or ACH (eCheck). Generally, there will be a link to follow. If you don’t find a link or donation page, contact your the organization’s administrator.
Text a donation using the organization’s designated text giving number (this is NOT their standard phone number). Text the amount you would like to give (ex: $50). If it’s your first text donation, you’ll click on the secure registration link and enter your payment information. At this point, your donation will process, and you’ll receive a confirmation.
Give with your smartphone by downloading the SimpleGive app from Google Play or the App store. Once you’ve set up an account, you’ll be prompted with the steps to donate.

Can I accept recurring donations and payments?
Yes, you can set up multiple recurring payments and donations.
How will I know a donation has been made?
In additional to real-time reporting, SimpleGive offers email notifications for donations. We provide a daily batch summary of your account’s activity. Of course, your donors will receive an email receipt for any gift processed.
How soon after a donation is processed can I expect to receive the funds?
Credit/Debit Card transactions are deposited within 2-3 business days. ACH/eCheck transactions can take a bit longer as there is no real-time authorization with ACH/eChecks like there is with Credit/Debit Card transactions.
What payment types does SimpleGive offer?
We offer all the major card brands: VISA, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express. We also process ACH/eCheck transactions.
Can I use SimpleGive to accept transactions other than donations and giving?
Yes, you can accept moneys on any pre-configured category. Accept payments for camp registration, building funds, a special offering for Easter.
We’d like to test our SimpleGive account with a few people first before we offer it to the entire congregation. Will this be possible?
Absolutely! This is a great way to get started with your SimpleGive account. It not only allows you to get familiar with SimpleGive but also helps build confidence with the product among your team.
How long will it be before I can start taking donations?
Less than twenty-four hours from the time your merchant account application is approved. Merchant account applications usually take 3-4 business days to be approved.
Does SimpleGive offer a “virtual terminal”?
What is a “virtual terminal”?
The secure Virtual Terminal and Batch Upload features enable merchants to process credit card and/or ACH transactions manually. SimpleGive merchants access the Virtual Terminal and Batch Upload features through a Web-based Merchant Interface. Transactions are immediately submitted for authorization and processing each day.
Is SimpleGive Secure/PCI Compliant?
Yes, we are proud to be PCI Compliant. Any organization that stores, processes, or transmits payment cardholder data, no matter what size, must meet the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS). These requirements are set forth by the PCI Security Standards Council to enhance payment card data security, and ultimately, protect your organization.
